Resort TV Cable Review
In hot springs, AR, the local cable company is Resort TV Cable. The cable company offers many different services, including Digital cable, HDTV services, and High speed internet service. They have also recently launched a digital phone service, however I have not signed up for this service, so I cant review it.

Digital Cable Review
I'll start with the digital cable service. The cable company offers many channels to chose from, in fact they offer more channels of HBO, Cinemax, and Starz then both Direct TV, and Dish network. They also offer many other channels such as comedy central, TBS, G4, and much more (I will put a link to the channel listings in the end of this review). The picture quality is actually very good, even on the analog channels. The digital channels all look very clear, however some are a little over compressed but its really not that noticeable. They also offer DVR service which is very nice, and once you use it you wont want to go back. Over all I highly recommend the digital cable service, It is very reliable, has lots of channels to chose from, no contracts, is much easier then satellite to set up, and has very competitive prices. The only thing I wish the cable company offered was on demand, however you cant get true on demand from satellite either.
Resort TV Cable. Digital Cable service
Pros: Very reliable, Lots of channels, Great picture Quality, competitive Pricing
Cons: No on demand service, Some channels to compressed
Score: 4 out of 5

HDTV Review
Resort TV cables HDTV service is fairly new. They have added channels over time and now have a total of 12 HD channels, although 2 of these are not broadcasting due to contract issues with HBO/Cinemax but are listed and ready to go. The Picture quality is excellent, full HD not "HD Lite" as with some providers. They also offer Local NBC, ABC, CBS, and PBS in HD, with FOX soon to follow. The service is also very reliable, however the local channels do sometimes pixileze however this is a known problem and will be fixed soon, as the local channels are the newest. Overall I am very satisfied with this service.
Resort TV Cable HDTV Service
Pros: Excellent Picture Quality, Very reliable, very cheap ($5.00), Locals in HD
Cons: Locals in HD need a little work, would like to see FOX in HD
Score: 4 out of 5

Resort TV Cable High Speed internet (Cablelynx) Review:
Resort TV cables high speed internet is branded under the "Cablelynx" name so I will refer to it as that through this review. Up to date prices for this service can be found at cablelynx.com but as of now I pay $34.95 /month for 4.0Mbps download , and 384 upload. This price is with a 12 month contract but will stay the same price even after 12 months. The service is extremely reliable. The only outage I ever had that was un planned, and was the cable company's problem was when the local UBR crashed, and was down from midnight to about 3 P.M. the next day, however I did receive some credit for this. Speeds are also very reliable as of now. I get at the least 3.7 Mbps during any time of the day. The customer Service is very good, as long as you call by 4:30 P.M. you can get someone to your house the same day. Also there is always some one "on call" that can fix system outages locally. Over all I highly recommend this service.
Cablelynx Pros and Cons:
Pros: Reliable, consistent speeds, good pricing, no usage limits
Cons: Should have slightly faster download speed for money
Score: 4 out of 5
